Moses learned skills in the palace as a prince. He also learned by being a Shepard. He learned how to care for the sheep.
How to provide for them, lead, protect and feed them. He learned how to use what was good in them for the benefit of others.
I am fairly sure when Moses found himself as a Shepard after being a prince, that things took a very unexpected turn.
He did not know that God was preparing him for what was to come. It took time but Moses did eventually do exactly what God intended him to do.
What seems to us as God’s silence, is usually our period of preparation.
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
