The children of Israel sinned and stepped out of God’s covering.
The Babylonian’s attacked them, defeated them and enslaved them.
However…the Babylonians were destroyed because they came against God’s children.
That was the harvest the Babylonian’s received.
No matter what people do to you, do not try to get back at them. Revenge is not the answer.
You do not have to be buddies and invite them over for dinner. They do not need to be your confidant.
You can minimize contact if possible.
Forgive them and let them go. A great book to help with this is Joyce Meyer’s book, ‘Reduce Me to Love’.
Do not sow a bad seed by your actions. Leave it to God.
