Over time we may have friendships with many others, but not developed close relationship.
We share more of ourselves with the people that we are closer to and they have an access to us on a deeper level.
We share our victories and hurts. These relationships help us to know and grow with each other. They are a source of comfort, correction, support, Hopefully they encourage us to treat others well and live our best, enjoyable lives.
We want to have to have an even better intimate relationship with Jesus. We want to be able to turn to Him. Share consistently with Him. Be corrected by Him. Be encouraged by Him.
The closer the relationship with Him, the more we flow in our purpose and destiny that He has for our lives.
