I sometimes become frustrated because when I pray, I wondered why certain prayers do not seem to be answered and others are answered no problem?
1 John 5:14-15 indicates that if we ask according to His will He hears us and if we know that He hears us, we know we have what we asked.
I have read and prayed this scripture in the past however this time the ‘according to His will’ really registered. I had head knowledge/understanding of it but nothing else.
Is what I am praying for lined up with His will for my life in accordance with the purpose and destiny He has for me?
Am I asking for things that lead away from me accomplishing what I was created to do in the kingdom?
Maybe we are supposed to work in a certain field but we have relationships (personal and/or professional) that will damage our fulfilling our purpose successfully.
Now I am reviewing my prayers…hmm.
1 John 5:14-15
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
