The needle of a compass is a magnetized pointer within a compass that is drawn to align itself with the Earth’s magnetic North Pole regardless of the compass users location.
God’s Word in the Holy Bible is our needle in the compass. It helps us orient ourselves and move forward on our life path with confidence regardless of our location or situation.
We may want to move in a different (wrong), direction because that path looks easier or it may appear to have better opportunities more quickly. However if we ignore the information perceived from a compass and God’s Word, we may find ourselves in situations that it takes more time to get out of than it did to get into.
As long as a navigator knows which way is north you can successfully locate and travel towards your destination.
As long as we continue to learn and be filled with God’s Word then we can determine the best way to proceed and move to act accordingly.
We cannot see the magnetic pull on the compass needle and yet it works. We may not be able to see the power behind God’s Word, yet it works.
Use your biblical needle in the compass and move forward with boldness!
