Jesus: Our Mentor

I remember wanting to have a mentor to build relationship and improve my professional leadership development. I did not have any ideal on how to connect with one. I understood the potential benefits and I reviewed who I knew, who may have had the time or possible inclination to mentor me and I came up empty.

Then one day I received the revelation that Jesus is our mentor in all stages of life. He is always available. Human mentors may be busy with their life demands which is understandable. He never is.

He gave us Peter as an example for overcoming failure.

He gave us the centurion as an example of faith.

He gave us Mary Magdalene as someone who overcame her past.

While we are making choices and living life, be encouraged knowing that we do have guidance in every area of life. We can receive a lot of mentorship by reading Proverbs and applying what we have read.
