How To Avoid Making Mistakes

If you want to avoid failing then get off of the train tracks!

We sometimes make choices that we know put us at risk. Then when the mistake or failure happens, we wonder why we failed, messed up or someone caused this calamity.

We sometimes blame others when we know we made the easy choice or basically just did what we wanted to do and justified our choices.

Self-deception is a trap.

It is sort of like walking on train tracks, with headphones on to block out what we do not want to hear while we listen to music.

We tell ourselves we can handle it and will get off the tracks if we need to.

Then the train is coming but we happily ignore the danger we are in as we enjoy our moment.

The train hits us and we wonder, “How did this happen?” The consequences can be severe, life changing and sometimes very destructive. We can be hurt and or hurt others.

Sometimes we want things now and we push. Be patient. If we pick fruit before it’s time, we have the fruit early but it never tastes as good.

Please get off the tracks. Think things through.
