A guest artist attended my school and shared his artistic gifts with us. He sketched a beautiful landscape as he explained art. When he finished one person asked for the small drawing.
He started to pass it to the student and then a few of the other kids also started to ask for it. He looked around and then said no, crushed it up and threw it away.
I learned that you should not throw away your gifts because there is someone who values it.
To this day, I am sorry that something so beautiful was destroyed. I would have preferred that someone, anyone received it.
1 Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
