People Are Like Shoes

People are like shoes in that some fit and some do not.

  • different shoes are best for certain situations and events
  • some are comfortable and some are not
  • some look great but can hurt you
  • some feel great but mess with your personal presentation

We have all experienced days when we have been tired or discouraged. Having a solid base of family and or friends makes a difference.

The better we are at having different people in our lives that share some similar interests, are honest and encouraging, the easier it is to navigate in life. A sense of humour does not hurt!

One person cannot be everything in every situation to us. There are some people who would go to the Theatre with me and others who love me just as much and do not want to go at all. There is nothing wrong with that.

Jesus had twelve disciples. He did not stay by Himself. He could have since He was Jesus but did not.

Do not let life or people isolate you. Get out there, be bold and live!

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
